Angela is the former girlfriend of Parker.

Years ago, while Parker was still in Texas, she had gone vacations in Greece and recorded her memories in an ASP cassette. In Athens she saw Greek-letter signs, the smell of dust, a gray monument with stone horses, circle of pigeons. Then a beach.

When she met Parker, she helped him get his papers, and found him his first job in ASP.

Next summer they argued, she packed her things and called a cab during a toxic rainy night. She didn't look back as the cabby pedalled away.

The next night Parker searched her bare shelves for evidence of love; she left behind a broken leather sandal strap, the ASP cassette of her vacations, and a postcard with a white light reflection hologram of a rose.
