The lobby features pale blue carpeting and velour armchairs, a gift-shop of ambiguous Byzantine antiquities, an alcove with payphones and an antiquated vendor console that takes lira coins. It uses magnetic keys with a round yellow tag.
Armitage and The Finn were waiting Case and Molly Millions there and gave them their keys. The next day the pair met Terzibashjian who would help them capture Peter Riviera at the Grand Bazaar.
After booking their THY flight to Paris, Molly went to buy Riviera's drug supplies and the men were in the lobby, Armitage was after Riviera who was browsing in the gift-shop, Japanese tourists, an old Italian lady in a white leather tuxedo jacket with Porsche glasses staring at Case. Wanting his supply for cigarettes, Case went to buy from the console, when a payphone mysteriously rang for him; it was Wintermute's voice.
