Ono-Sendai Cyberspace VII, aka the "Cyberspace Seven", is a matrix simulator, or cyberspace deck. It has green and red LEDs on the face. It comes with a terry sweatband worn on the forehead, with Sendai dermatrodes.

Factory prototypes are cast into a block of polycarbon and manufactured so that to make difficult any reverse engineering and hardware tampering. Those who try to open them with a laser damage the circuits, and it is booby-trapped against x-ray and ultrascan. Nonetheless experts like Automatic Jack and The Finn managed to customize them.

It is compatible with Kuang Grade Mark Eleven penetration program.

Burning Chrome[]

Bobby Quine uses one in the loft, but Automatic Jack had rebuilt it from scratch, leaving very little factory circuitry. Automatic Jack knew its interior by heart; having rebuilt its hardware so many times that he hadn't left a square millimeter of factory circuitry in it. Bobby loaded in it a Russian program with which he attacked Chrome's database.

The Finn patched Case's deck with a flip flop switch that would allow him to access SimStim while still jacked in the matrix, specifically in order to see what Molly Millions sees.

When Wintermute caught Case in cyberspace, he used information from the simstim unit wired on his Cyberspace VII deck to access his memories and generated a virtual environment from them.
