Neuromancer[]

He with Michele and Roland were in the Intercontinental posing as teenage tourists spying on Armitage and Case.

They broke into Case's room for investigation, waiting for him, who entered in the morning. During the interrogation he played the Bad Cop, pacing the room, wandering between the window and the room. He insisted on stripping him and searching the seams of his jeans. He informed Case that he is charged with conspiracy to augment an artificial intelligence. He said that Armitage was already arrested, and was surprised that Case already knew his real name, Corto; Case said that he forgot how he learned it.

Pierre, at the window again, was peering through a flat little pair of binoculars when Case asked to put some clothes on. Roland asked him, to which Pierre answered "Non" and Roland just shrugged to Case. Case complained that he is sick, needing rest and doesn't know much more, but Pierre insisted knowing how he knew that Armitage's real name is Corto, to which Case lied that mentioned it sometime, as "Everybody's got a couple names. Your name Pierre?"

Michele told Case what they discovered about their movements and how they traced them to here. Pierre said he was delighted to find them here to which Case commented that it was because they'd have a chance to work on their tan.

Case took a Yeheyuan from his pack and Pierre lit it for him, asking if Armitage would protect Case. Instead of answering, Case just asked how old he is, and he replied that he is old enough to know that it is over for him, and he is messed up. Case blew the smoke at him and questioned the Turing jurisdition, making his eyes to harden, but instead of punching him, he only shrugged; it was Roland who explained to him the Turing "versatility" in such cases.

Case surrendered and they exited the meadow, towards their standby ship. Pierre walked behind the trio. They crossed a bridge crossing Desiderata Street when a microlight, controlled by Wintermute, came and it carbon fiber prop chopped away the top of Pierre's skull. Case felt his hot clood at the back of his neck, and seeing him lost his breakfast.
