She wore blue Zeiss Ikons, the brand of the stars. According to Automatic Jack, Rikki looks a lot like her, in coloring and cheekbones.

She was there the next day after the attack of the Panther Moderns (although everyone believed it was Sons of Christ the King who put Blue One in the water); Cath saw her in close and was excited that she smiled, so natural. She took some shots of her, and made 5 huge Cibachrome transparencies, taped across the glass of her balcony in the Intercontinental.

The name is an auctorial hat-tip to The Girl Who Was Plugged In (1974) by sci-fi author James Tiptree Jr., wherein a certain Paul Isham becomes enamored with a remote-controlled media star.
